crews, our fishing units (we are owners and captains on our
units by 1965), together with the experience of the Sicilian
fishermen regarding the longline fisheries, new fishing
techniques and new equipments have been tested. These innovations have generated a fast evolution on a large scale in the field of professional fishing equipment. Eurofisheries is actually based on a technical know-how wich is the result of a deep industry knowledge and careful analysis of innovation and technological development of all fishing systems. On the basis of these premises and as regards the market which is growing in Italy and in all the countries of the Mediterranean sea, Eurofisheries started to commerce equipment for the complete professional and sport fishing. We know deeply the importance for the quality of fishing gear and we know that there are many factors to consider when purchasing equipment such as fishing area, target species, size and power of unity, number of crew, fishing technique .
